Relax at the Pelican Retreat

This comfortable cottage is located right in front of beautiful Lake Bonney in Barmera SA. Sit back on your private deck, sipping a local wine  accompanied by a cheese platter and appreciate unbelievable sunsets and spectacular lake views. What could be better?

The retreat and yard are pet friendly so feel free to bring along your fury friend. The lake foreshore is also pet friendly and a great place to take them for walks (and a swim if it’s warm).
We have a $40 extra cleaning fee so please advise if you wish to bring your pet.

The Riverland is well known for its wineries, breweries, great places to eat and water activities This is the location that covers the lot whether you are a family, a couple or individual there is something for everyone here.

The Pelican Retreat is right next to the lake which has walking trails, fishing, watersports, barbecues and exercise machines and the golf course is just over the back fence.

It is within walking distance to cafes, excellent playground and town centre.

The Retreat
The Pelican Retreat is newly renovated and refurnished.
It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedroom one has a double bed which can be separated to two singles if required.
Bedroom two has a double bed and a triple bunk (lower double and upper single).
So all up, it comfortably sleeps 7.
The lounge has a sofa bed that can be used for an extra 1 or 2 people if really needed.

Outside is an undercover BBQ and dining area.

Guests have access to whole cottage and backyard.
